As you can probably tell by now, I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Or, as it's often called: I belong to the "Mormon" church.
My parents joined the church when I was five years old.
The church recently launched a new website for those who are interested in learning more about our beliefs. I love the videos and profiles that people are posting. I can't stop looking at them once I start!
I think many people in the general public have preconceived notions about what Mormons believe. This new website helps to dispel those beliefs. The nice thing about the postings is that even though everybody comes from different backgrounds and they are quite diverse, they share one interest- they are all Mormon.

Tammy shared one of these on her blog that just about ripped my heart out yesterday. Many of these are good reminders that there are people out there, like us, just just trying to do their best in the world.

I love this new site but it can be very addictive. The thing is, as more and more people make profiles, there will be a never-ending source of meeting and learning about church members. Isn't the church always coming up with great new ideas to people to learn about the church, the gospel, and Jesus Christ!
