Introducing....
born on Tuesday, June 12th (about a month early) at 8:35 pm (EST)
5 pounds, 5 ounces
19 inches long
5 pounds, 5 ounces
19 inches long
(It definitely wasn't planned this way, but he was born on Jesse's sister's birthday)
He had a bit of a hard time getting here. I had pre-eclampsia which turned into HELLP syndrome and I ended up having an emergency c-section, but we are all doing well now and are healthy (although sleep deprived!). We'll be released from the hospital on Friday, June 15th and are looking forward to going home.
I will be posting the birth story soon, but it starts with this picture below on Monday evening, June 11th...the day we were admitted to the hospital!

My daughter was born at 37 weeks and when she went home she weighed 5 pounds 3 ounces. I am a RN and I wondered what am I going to do with this tiny baby.
She wanted to eat every 2 hours and I was exhausted. So, take it easy and rest, sleep when he sleeps. Don't be discouraged.
Congrats!!! He is absolutely beautiful :D
CONGRATULATIONS! So glad that he is healthy. My first pregnancy and birth didn't go as planned either and although I am still bitter about some of it, in the end I am glad that Lara got here and she is healthy.
Natasha I am so happy for you. He is such a cutie and is so tiny and adorable. I'm sorry things didn't go as you planned but isn't it wonderful now that he's here? I hope you are feeling and healing well. I had an emergency C-Section too. Aren't we just awesome? :) I'm so glad you are both healthy. Wish I lived close so I could visit and hold your little angel.
He is so precious! Take care of yourself and try to get some rest. Hoping you have a speedy recovery and enjoy cuddling your little bundle.
Yay! Stay in your mom cave for as long as you can and you'll get better fast!
Welcome baby Malachi and congratulations to your and Jesse.
Enjoy every minute. Rest Rest Rest.
Congrats on the new addition!
I came by to check for updates and realized that I never left a comment in the first place. So, belatedly, CONGRATULATIONS!!! Little Malachi is gorgeous!
I haven't been on blogs much, but am finally catching up and wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS! He is absolutely adorable and I"m so glad that things are okay with both of you. I've had two of our children quite early and it can definitely be scary, but they are so worth it! I love his name. Congrats again!
