(This picture has nothing to do with this post, I just wanted you to see the snowfall outside my apartment. It looks very Narnia-esque doesn't it?)
Today at work a customer was transferred down to me who wanted to pay a bill by credit card.
I answered the phone like I normally do:
"Hi. This is Natasha."
His response?
"Natasha? Where did you get a name like that? Are your parents communists?"
"No, as a matter of fact, they are not (and while you're at it, why don't you give me a paper cut and pour lemon juice on it). How can I help you?"
I was talking to my mom and she suggested that I should have told him I was a Christmas baby. That would have caught him off guard.
Anyway, with tact like that I'm sure he gets lots of repeat customers to his car dealership. I'm just sure of it.*
*(That was sarcasm, in case you didn't get it...)

In other news, I had a great weekend. I saw Elder Bednar twice- once at a YSA fireside on Saturday night and then on Sunday we had a special Stake Conference where he spoke. It was wonderful.

He probably would have missed the connection, anyway, between Natasha and Christmas!
I love your snow photograph! How did you do it to have it come out so clear in the dark? Beautiful!!!
That snow sure looks familiar :)
I"m having a giveaway, come check it out!

How rude! I wonder how he thought he would get better service with a comment like that-- you're the one with his credit card number ;)
It always surprises me that people who own business would be rude since their income depends on other people shopping with them. He doesn't know you may have been in the market for a car! I feel sure after that you wouldn't want to give him your business. I have been reading your other posts and just wanted to say don't ever give up on finding love! The Lord has the right person just for you.I also wanted to thank you for the nice comment that you left on my blog. I really appreciated it.
