Two Easter photos

I know this is almost a month overdue, but I love this photo so I'm adding it.
This was taken on Saturday, April 7th (the day before Easter) at my parent's house.
(My mom, dad, sister, Jesse and I. And just for reference I was 27 weeks pregnant).

My Aunt (mom's sister), cousin, her daughter and their dog drove down from Northern Ohio to visit that day. My cousin and her family weren't able to come to our wedding so it was nice for them to meet Jesse.

Sunday Will Come

I think Elder Wirthlin says it perfectly: "Each of us will have our own Fridays, those days when the universe itself seems shattered and the shards of our world lie littered upon us in pieces. We will all experience those broken times, when it seems we can never be put together again. We will all have our Fridays, but I testify in the name of the one who conquered death- Sunday will come."

"No matter how dark our Friday, Sunday will come."

Happy Easter from me to you.

He Lives

All the time, but especially during the Easter and General Conference season, I am so grateful for the testimony that I have of Jesus Christ.

I know that because he loved us (and still does), he chose to come to earth and live. I know that he died and now he lives again. I also know that because he lives, we too will live again. I know that he is our Savior. What a wonderful knowledge to have! I am also grateful for the testimonies of our living prophet and apostles. Their testimonies strengthen mine.

Happy Easter and General Conference!

He is Risen...
