Several years ago my sister and mom found a study about high fructose corn syrup and the harmful effects it can have on our bodies.
Since then, I've tried to limit the number of foods I eat that have HFCS. It's pretty hard to avoid it though, since it's in so many foods.
Sometimes I would forget to check if a food had HFCS in it and I would offer my sister some.
Her response: "Does it have high fructose corn syrup in it?"
My response (as I'm checking the label): "Umm, yeah."
My Sister: "No, I don't want any."
Anyway...I found these two videos on youtube and they cracked me up!
Have you heard much about the effects of HFCS? Do you limit HFCS in your diet? Any other foods you try to avoid?

I have read about it too but haven't really made a very big effort to limit it too much. Perhaps I should look into it a bit more!

I try to avoid it as much as I can, but it isn't possible in all cases. I think most of the processed foods we are eating aren't the best for our bodies, and the more we try to stick to fruits, veggies and grains the better.
I put these same two video's on my blog awhile back! :) And yes, I have pretty much cut it out of our diet.
It is something we try to avoid, although it is hard because it is everywhere! =)
